We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Intern to join our team. This paid internship offers a hands-on learning experience in a professional accounting environment, providing support to our administrative and office staff. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong organizational skills and a desire to grow their administrative and office management expertise.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Woodbury, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
  • This position operates as part of a US East Coast-based team, with typical working hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general office administration tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and data entry and other projects as needed.
  • Support the team with scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars.
  • Update and maintain client and vendor databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Provide clerical support for various projects as assigned.
  • Learn and adhere to internal policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Provide front-desk coverage when needed by answering incoming calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
