About The Position

The HR Clerk Front Office Administrator is responsible for managing the reception area of an office, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, handling general administrative tasks, and ensuring a positive first impression for clients and guests, essentially acting as the primary point of contact for Freshpet’s front office.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum (2) years of experience in an administrative role
  • Minimum (1) year of HR experience
  • Experience in Microsoft office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using an HRIS system preferred
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Operations

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and assisting visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answering telephone calls, as well as screening and forwarding calls.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments, meetings, and events.
  • Assist with site tours/visits and food reservations
  • Assist with site security tasks (i.e. door access, badges, gate access, etc.)
  • Coordinate and general employee events and site holiday office décor
  • Arrange travel and accommodations as needed
  • Handling basic inquiries and sorting mail.
  • Copying, scanning, and filing documents.
  • Entering employee information into the HRIS system.
  • Coordinate interviews for hiring managers.
  • Onboarding tasks.
  • Monitoring office supplies and ordering replacements.
  • Keeping the reception area tidy and observing professional etiquette.
  • Performing other administrative tasks, if required.
