About The Position

Tactica Solutions is seeking a qualified Human Resources and Administrative Professional to provide dedicated S1 support for the HHC BDE in service of the 116th Military Intelligence Brigade. This is a mid-level Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) role located on-site at Ft. Hood, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing sensitive personnel actions within high-security and intelligence-driven environments. Typical Job Duties and Tasks: Personnel Accountability: Serve as the primary strength manager responsible for conducting personnel accountability and maintaining readiness tracking systems for the Brigade. Systems Management: Utilize Military HR Systems (including IPPS-A, eMILPO, TOPMIS, and EDAS) to execute duty status changes and manage digital personnel records with high precision. Reporting & Analysis: Compile, review, and analyze daily personnel status reports from subordinate units; manage brigade gains and losses rosters for distribution to leadership. Senior Leadership Support: Provide direct administrative support to senior leadership (BDE CSM and BDE CDR), ensuring accurate reporting and efficient personnel flow during high-tempo missions. Workflow Optimization: Identify administrative workflow gaps and implement efficient procedures for in/out-processing, sponsorship programs, and Personnel Asset Inventories (PAI). Actions Processing: Manage complex caseloads including evaluations, awards, leave requests, and coordination with MPD for PCS or separation orders. Confidentiality: Maintain the highest standards of discretion while handling sensitive information and clearance-restricted documentation.

Requirements

  • High School/GED with minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in Army S1 operations, specifically within a Battalion or Brigade-level section.
  • Proven ability to perform in high-stakes, intelligence-driven settings requiring adaptability and mission focus.
  • Excellent written and strategic communication skills for coordinating among multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and data management to track performance and policy compliance.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and willing to submit to CI polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Possession of Army HR & Administrative Operations Certifications is highly preferred.
