About The Position

This position is with the Licensing Unit within the Structural Pest Control & Pesticides Division. Work week Monday - Friday Flexible work schedule hours available The primary purpose of this position is to support the licensing, certification, and registration program for individuals working in the Structural Pest Control and Pesticide (SPC&PD) regulated industry by processing the issuance of licenses, certification and registered technician cards, as well as depositing associated fees and assuring proof of insurance for license holders; all in accordance with SPC&PD policies and procedures. To review the accuracy of licensing applications submitted from the regulated industry. This position assists with the administration and processing of examinations. This position serves as a backup for the division’s receptionist on a rotating schedule. This position will perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service and public contact
  • Ability to multi-task using excellent organizational skills to meet daily deadlines.
  • Knowledge of cash management, remote check deposits and data entry practices.
  • Experience interpreting and applying policies
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and to work independently as well as in a team Environment.
  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
