Mercer University is searching for an Administrative Support Specialist on the Macon, Georgia campus. Responsibilities : The Administrative Support Specialist is responsible for managing first-year and transfer student data by overseeing projects connected to Orientation, academic advising, UNV 101: The First-Year Experience, and other initiatives that support new University students. Additionally, this position provides critical support to the Office of Academic and Advising Services. Key responsibilities include downloading and managing data, organizing reports, and ensuring consistency and stability within the office. The position also functions as an office manager, requiring a solid working knowledge of all departmental operations. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, budget management and oversight, supervision of student assistants, creation and maintenance of spreadsheets/databases, and management of office projects. Qualifications : A high school diploma/GED and three years of prior administrative support experience are required. In lieu of experience, a combination of college coursework and at least one year of administrative support experience will be considered. Experience must include working with data/databases.
