What you bring to SBHG: Master’s degree in a Social Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or equivalent related field or Associate’s degree in Nursing required. (5) years’ full-time experience in a leadership role in a healthcare or social service setting. Experience with seriously emotionally disturbed children/adolescents required. Acute, inpatient mental health care experience preferred. License or Certification Valid CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire. Valid California Driver's License is required. Licensed as Registered Nurse if degree is in Nursing How you will make a difference: Hires, trains, and supervises direct reports as assigned. Oversees the operational and clinical functions of assigned programs. Ensures accurate oversight of documentation timelines and productivity expectations. Ensures accurate and thorough oversight of clinical services and documentation provided by all staff. Provides oversight of clinical and operational supervision provided by Director, Coordinators and Supervisors. Acts as a consultant to managers and staff to assist in the development of accurate and high-quality assessments and plans of care for clients and families. Develops and maintains a productive work relationship with Federal, State, County, and local agency representatives. Partners with the Training and Quality Assurance to identify training needs and provide guidance. Provides training to Director, Coordinators and Supervisors with an emphasis on clinical oversight of direct-care staff. Provides other training as necessary and appropriate. Partners with the Psychiatry Department to ensure their services are integrated into the clinical treatment with the highest level of quality attainable. Actively participates in and engages in the development of a highly functioning Management Team. Participates as a member of the CS YPHF Management Team and facilitates meetings as appropriate. Participates in the CS YPHF On Call Rotation. Availability by phone to provide support and assistance in problem resolution. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law. Requirements
