About The Position

As a Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Sr Advanced here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that drive innovation and efficiency in our Engines & Power Operations Center. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-quality software that meets the needs of our customers and enhances our product offerings. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing advanced manufacturing strategies that enhance productivity and improve product quality. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Java, or Python
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Engineering degrees like ME (Mechanical Engineering) or EE (Electrical Engineering) (Software Engineering).
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • SCADA software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications for propulsion systems and auxiliary power units.
  • Ensure software quality through rigorous testing and adherence to industry standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational goals.
