We will rely on your professional expertise to develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. As an Advanced Manufacturing Test Systems Engineer for Mission Systems - Undersea Mission Solutions business area, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for producing the world's most advanced Torpedo electronics. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Advanced board-level troubleshooting skills Experience with developing and supporting manufacturing test systems What sets you apart: Proficient using electrical engineering computer-aided design tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design Habitually ahead of technology trends, with background in test, troubleshooting, and reading circuit card schematics Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design Development & Manufacturing experience including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing Collaborative team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
- Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
