Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy times
• Basic math and money-handling skills
• Comfortable using POS systems and basic electronic equipment
• Must be at least 16 years old (14–15 may work with restrictions)
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be available weekends and holiday Mondays
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Occasionally lift and move 5–20 lbs
• Some bending, stooping, or climbing required

Responsibilities

• Open and close the café following established procedures
• Greet guests and take food and beverage orders
• Operate the POS system and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
• Follow all money-handling procedures
• Keep your workspace clean and organized
• Prepare food and beverages according to MN Health and Food Codes
• Operate dishwashing and cooking equipment
• Stay familiar with menu items, upsell when appropriate, and assist with guest questions or concerns
• Know Spirit Mountain’s attractions and services to better serve our guests
