The Advertising Compliance Manager will oversee regulatory review and approval of advertising and marketing content across paid media, organic social, landing pages, email, and influencer partnerships. This role ensures all consumer-facing content aligns with FTC standards, and internal risk Compliance Manager frameworks while supporting high-performance marketing.

Requirements

• 5+ years in advertising compliance, regulatory affairs, or health-product marketing compliance
• Direct experience applying FTC health products compliance standards
• Strong understanding of: Substantiation requirements, Net impression analysis, Influencer disclosure rules, Performance marketing dynamics

Nice To Haves

• Experience in DTC wellness, supplements, or functional foods preferred

Responsibilities

• Review and approve marketing creative prior to launch
• Evaluate claims under FTC compliance standards
• Distinguish between structure/function claims and disease claims
• Conduct net impression analysis (copy + visuals)
• Partner with Growth and Creative to revise high-risk content while preserving performance
• Monitor FTC enforcement trends and platform policy changes
• Maintain creative compliance tracking system
• Train internal teams and creators on compliant messaging
