About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Advisor Data Analyst to join a groundbreaking Population Health Management (PHM) project. This is a high-impact role supporting a state-sponsored data platform for Medicaid in California. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating complex analytics and documentation that directly influence healthcare delivery and quality for millions of residents. What You Will Do In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex data structures and actionable healthcare insights. Your daily responsibilities include: Database Architecture: Design and maintain complex databases, ensuring high performance, security, and rigorous validation checks. Analytics Delivery: Develop and maintain ad-hoc reports and dashboards that meet specific client requirements and PHM service standards. Standards Leadership: Monitor and revise data procedures to stay ahead of market demands and ensure consistency across all Medicaid data structures. Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve critical technical issues within databases to ensure seamless service delivery. Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and training to junior personnel on data modeling techniques and information system integration. Client Consultation: Research business objectives and communicate directly with stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and align on requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Required).
  • 6+ years of professional experience in programming or data analysis.
  • Proven experience in HEDIS , Health Quality, and Population Health Management (PHM).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R .
  • Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI .
  • Hands-on experience with data administration, repository management, and data warehousing.
  • Deep understanding of HEDIS specifications and compliance reporting from claims and electronic health records.
  • Familiarity with security software packages, user authentication, and digital signatures.
