About The Position

As an AES Technician, you will support site and regional cost controls by auditing contractor labor hours and gate‑log activity, validating labor allocations, and ensuring recharge and invoice submissions are accurate and contract‑compliant. In this role, you will directly support the Regional Contract Operations Invoice and Settlement Expertise Team by providing timely, well‑documented audit results, resolving exceptions, and helping drive accurate invoice processing and settlement outcomes. You will coordinate weekly labor allocation approvals, resolve billing discrepancies and system errors in Comengy/AES 32, and work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive timely, accurate corrections. You will also assist the site Comengy/AES 32 Subject Matter Expert (SME) by helping onboard and train new users and reinforcing standard processes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a 2 year Associates Degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
  • Independent work style: Ability to prioritize daily workload, manage competing deadlines, and complete tasks accurately with minimal supervision.
  • Critical thinking & attention to detail: Strong analytical skills to review timekeeping, allocations, and billing data; identify exceptions; and recommend or implement corrections.
  • Technical troubleshooting: Ability to investigate system/process issues, isolate root causes, and coordinate resolution with suppliers and internal partners with minimal oversight.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel (sorting/filtering, pivot tables, lookups, and basic reporting).

Nice To Haves

  • Systems exposure (preferred): SAP experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Audit contractor labor hours using gate system data to validate timekeeping, access records, and related labor charges.
  • Review, audit, and approve gate‑log override requests; ensure supporting documentation is complete and compliant with site requirements.
  • Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve discrepancies tied to gate‑log overrides and labor allocations in Comengy/AES 32.
  • Obtain and document weekly labor allocation approvals from Dow to support accurate billing preparation and timely closeout.
  • Resolve recharge and invoice errors submitted in Comengy/AES 32, including root‑cause identification, correction of data, coordination of resubmissions, and escalation/updates to the Regional Contract Operations Invoice and Settlement Expertise Team as needed.
  • Audit contractor recharge and invoice submissions to ensure contractual accuracy (rates, hours, coding, and supporting detail) prior to approval and provide clear documentation to support invoice review and settlement with the Regional Contract Operations Invoice and Settlement Expertise Team.
  • Serve as a site point of contact to support the Regional Contract Operations Invoice and Settlement Expertise Team by answering invoice/settlement inquiries, compiling required backup, and tracking issues through resolution.
  • Support the Site Comengy/AES 32 Subject Matter Expert (SME) by assisting with onboarding and training new users and reinforcing standard work practices.
