At Kamaʻāina Kids, after school is a time for kids to relax, connect with friends, and explore new interests. As a Group Leader, you’ll guide activities, encourage creativity, and help create an environment where every child feels welcome and supported. You’ll work alongside a friendly team that believes in teamwork, positivity, and showing up for kids every day. As a Group Leader, you’re the go-to grownup during after-school hours—leading games, supporting learning, and creating a safe, positive space where kids can be kids. You’ll work as part of a supportive team that believes in fun, growth, and showing up for our community. Every afternoon is different—and that’s part of the fun. This isn’t just a job—it’s a launchpad. Requirements
- Enjoy working with elementary-aged kids
- Bring a positive attitude and dependable work ethic
- Are patient, encouraging, and energetic
- Like being part of a supportive team
- Are 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Can work weekday afternoons
Responsibilities
- Lead games, crafts, sports, and enrichment activities
- Support students with homework and learning time
- Help create a safe, organized, and upbeat environment
- Encourage kindness, teamwork, and positive behavior
- Build relationships with children, families, and teammates
