About the role Gersh is seeking an experienced and ambitious Assistant to support an Agent in the Talent department at our NYC office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of related full-time experience in the entertainment industry. Experience at a mainstream talent agency/management company is strongly preferred. This role is perfect for someone who knows they want to be a talent agent and is excited to work on a fast-paced, high-volume desk. Excellent opportunity for growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Desire to pursue a career as a talent agent.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Positive attitude, highly organized, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Willingness to make a 2-year commitment in the role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a mainstream talent agency/management company is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with key players across the entertainment industry.
  • Roll calls and schedule meetings.
  • Calendar management, expense reports, and travel coordination.
  • Generate and schedule auditions as well as coordinate with casting directors, managers, and publicists.
  • Draft email correspondence, send submissions, and track incoming/outgoing materials.
