About The Position

The aircraft electrical worker performs nonsupervisory work involved in maintaining aircraft electrical power systems, environmental control systems and equipment. Essential Responsibilities: Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft electrical systems Inspecting, troubleshoot, repairing, and maintaining generators, wiring harnesses, circuit breakers, and lighting systems. Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft electrical equipment and components that have been removed from aircraft. Responsible for completion and accuracy of aircraft/equipment forms documentation and MIS input. Ensure compliance with technical publications and directives. Completes maintenance forms as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to obtain and maintain site access. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain site access.
Must have valid driver’s license (REAL ID required within 30 days of employment)
Skilled on test equipment required by job assignment.
Four (4) years of maintenance experience on like assigned aircraft, engine, avionics systems, Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) (DD 214 or employment record). Or have an FAA Airframe, or Powerplant, or Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
Must be able to perform the physical requirements as stipulated in Appendix E of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for the position.
