Your Team, Your Impact As an Analog IC Design Staff Engineer with Marvell, you’ll be a member of the Central Engineering business group. If you picture Marvell as a wheel, Central Engineering is the center hub providing IP to be used by all the other spokes on that wheel, including Automotive, Storage, Security, and Networking. You’ll be part of a small analog team making a big impact on this organization. Additionally, Marvell has the perfect size and scale for you to learn several aspects of engineering that will be new to you, but also have the time and freedom to dive deep into the details of your specialization on most projects. What You Can Expect Design PLL and clocking circuit design with high speed and low jitter. Specialized in high performance VCO development. Work on analog design of high-speed and high performance SerDes in advanced technology nodes, 5nm, 3nm and beyond. Provide new technique development for next generation SERDES and other general Analog IPs. Work with the AE for the IP characterization and validation plan. Provide the instructions to the layout engineers. Support IP Lab characterization and debugging. Wage $187,000.00 - $189,000.00 per year. What We're Looking For Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, Employer will accept a PhD or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field. Must have work/internship experience or completed graduate coursework/research in each of the following: • Cadence: Virtuoso for IC schematic design and layout. • Cadence Spectre/SpectreRF for analog, RF, and mixed-signal IC simulation and verification. • Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, Verilog-HDL languages to model, simulate and verify analog/mixed-signal circuits. • ModelSim to perform system-level PLL simulation and verification based on Verilog-HDL source files and post-routing files. • Matlab to develop algorithm for PLL system-level modeling, simulation, verification, to process simulation data and plot figures for visualization. • EMX/ Sonnet/ HFSS to design transformer layout and do EM simulation. • Design RF PCB layouts and do RFIC testing. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
