About The Position

Analyst, IT Data Center Operations Data Centers are the brains of a company, storing and processing huge amounts of data. They’re highly important to our customers – which means they’re highly important to us. Our IT Data Center Operations team’s remit extends from design, evaluation and analysis to testing, debugging and the implementation of applications programs. Supporting system hardware, peripherals and software within data centers, we identify, isolate and resolve problems, implement immediate resolutions when necessary and manage systems consoles from an operational and troubleshooting perspective. What you’ll achieve In this position as Analyst, IT Data Center Operations, you will increase data center reliability and uptime by proactively identifying risks, executing infrastructure improvements and contributing to incident incident-prevention initiatives. You will also enhance operational efficiency through process optimization, automation opportunities and improvements that reduce turnaround time for deployments, maintenance or troubleshooting activities. You will:

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of server, storage, and networking hardware.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, basic networking concepts, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience working in data center or mission-critical environments preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience working in data centers

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with DCIM tools, ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow), and monitoring platforms
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+, vendor hardware certifications)

Responsibilities

  • Rack, stack, install, configure, decommission, and replace servers, storage systems, and network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Perform hardware diagnostics and component-level replacements (drives, memory, power supplies, NICs).
  • Ensure equipment is installed according to data center standards and best practices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating system, application, and network connectivity issues.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory records and system documentation.
