Job Summary Join Mass Eye and Ear's Anesthesia Department, comprised of 6 full-time Anesthesia Techs, 30+ Anesthesiologists, 30+ CRNAs, and 10 Nurse Practitioners. This collaborative team is a wonderful place to work and learn. Qualifications Anesthesia Technician Co-op Responsibilities Performs routine duties to assist the professional nursing and medical staff. Assists Anesthesiologists by setting-up equipment and preparing medications. Orders, stocks, tests, and maintains anesthesia supplies, medications, and equipment. Washes and sterilizes re-usable equipment and reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel. Role Functions Transports and distributes anesthetic equipment in surgical suites. Troubleshoots equipment during operative procedures and makes appropriate replacements when necessary. Prepares equipment and assists with invasive monitoring procedures. Cleans and maintains anesthesia equipment, machines and carts. Cleans, maintains and orders anesthesia supplies. Performs all other duties as assigned. Additional Job Details (if applicable)
Responsibilities
