How you’ll make an impact in this role Assist licensed anesthesia provider with duties related to the care and monitoring of patients and equipment. Clean, sterilize, and set up all anesthesia equipment. Assist anesthesia provider with patient assessment, monitoring, transport, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management. Provide daily maintenance of equipment and troubleshoots malfunctions. Maintain an adequate inventory of necessary equipment and supplies. Assist in the preparation of scheduled, emergent and urgent surgical procedures involving anesthesia care providers by ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available, in working order & in proper location.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
