About The Position

  • Experience : 3-5 years AP managerial experience required
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems

  • Ability to remain focused for extended periods
  • Ability to work on computers for a significant portion of the day
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements as required for positions (Typing, clicking, swiveling)
  • Ability to lift 10-20 pounds as needed

Responsibilities

  • Supervise AP Team : Lead and mentor the accounts payable staff, ensuring they understand production-related timelines and goals.
  • Invoice Processing : Manage the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices related to production materials, ensuring they align with purchase orders and production schedules.
  • Reconciliation : Regularly reconcile vendor statements with production-related expenses, resolving discrepancies quickly to avoid delays in operations.
  • Payment Processing : Oversee the scheduling of payments for production suppliers, ensuring that payments align with production cycles and cash flow needs.
  • Policy Development : Develop and implement AP policies that support production timelines, including prioritization of critical supplier payments to prevent production delays.
  • Reporting : Generate reports on accounts payable related to production costs, analyzing trends in material spending and identifying potential savings.
  • Vendor Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with production vendors, addressing any supply chain issues that may impact production efficiency.
  • Audit Support : Facilitate internal and external audits by providing documentation that reflects production-related financial transactions and processes.
