About The Position

The Application Analyst II will have primary responsibility for the design, build/configuration, testing, validation, documentation and ongoing support of various software applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Services, a relate field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience in IT or an analytical clinical discipline.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar applications.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), analytical, team, and time management skills.
  • Ability to exercise tact and good interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete projects independently, solve complex problems and resolve conflicts in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare organizations, ancillary systems, and health system operations
  • Epic application certification or obtained within 6 months of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Clinical Setting.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records platforms (Epic), ITSM applications (KACE), HRIS (Infor), cloud deployments (Azure, AWS), and other digital platforms and services

Responsibilities

  • Design, build/configuration, testing, validation, documentation and ongoing support for the Healthcare applications.
  • Investigate, recommend solutions, and implement processes and guidelines intended to reduce issues.
  • Coordinate increasingly complex individual projects or work streams within the defined scope of the overall project.
  • Complete tasks based on clearly defined project milestones and support requirements.
  • Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflows.
  • Review and analyze system and performance indicators to locate problems and correct errors. Escalate problems and issues to appropriate staff to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in version upgrades on a scheduled basis to keep applications and users current.
  • Coordinate projects, schedule, and facilitate meetings to complete assignments.
  • Maintain records for change requests, stage in approval process, training for change, and live dates. Regularly attends change control committee.
  • Participate with clinical disciplines to support end user engagement, intentional design, and workflow control.
  • Provide technical and functional analyst support.
  • Perform other duties as required.
