About The Position

The Data & Applications team supports business-facing systems and develops analytics platforms, AI-driven solutions, and data infrastructure that connect technology, data, and decision-making across the organization. Team members combine financial and business knowledge with expertise in software development, data engineering, and analytics to deliver scalable technology solutions that support both internal operations and client-facing teams. We are seeking a motivated Application and Data Product Manager to lead strategic initiatives within the Data Applications Technology group. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, manage project execution, and ensure alignment across teams. You will be responsible for guiding projects from concept through delivery, including planning, development coordination, testing, and deployment. This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and a proactive approach to identifying risks and improving processes in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Product Manager, or Project Manager.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate work across cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to think holistically about systems, connect interdependencies, and proactively manage project risks.
Experience working within the financial services industry.
Understanding of application development processes and Agile development methodologies.
Experience working with third-party vendors and familiarity with SaaS platforms and cloud-based technologies.

Nice To Haves

Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Claude to support analysis, documentation, or workflow efficiency in a professional environment.
Experience with data visualization tools and building dashboards or management reporting solutions.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA.

Responsibilities

Define product vision and roadmaps while managing end-to-end delivery across business and technology teams, ensuring priorities, timelines, and risks are effectively managed.
Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables, translating complex business and technical requirements into clear implementation plans.
Work with stakeholders to document business processes, workflows, and end-to-end data flows, including lineage, integration points, and supporting documentation such as data dictionaries and metadata.
Analyze datasets to identify trends, gaps, and insights, and collaborate with technical teams to translate findings into validated data requirements and system improvements.
Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project execution and maintain productive vendor relationships.
Oversee development, testing, release management, and post-deployment support, ensuring quality assurance and change control processes are followed.
Provide regular project updates and maintain clear documentation for stakeholders while escalating risks or delays when necessary.
Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to support successful delivery.
Manage ongoing operational activities including enhancements, defect tracking, and support requests for assigned systems.
Drive system optimization and promote best practices by evaluating current platforms and defining reporting or analytics requirements.
Support user training initiatives and communicate system updates or process changes across relevant teams.
