Through two structured assignments within a specific technology track, analysts gain hands-on experience, build technical and professional skills, and collaborate across teams to solve real business challenges. What does a successful Application Specialist - Analyst Program do? As the Application Specialist, you will play a meaningful role supporting Fiserv’s Deposit Solutions environment, including Enterprise SCO, Fraud and/or TCM systems. You will work closely with internal channel partners and external clients to troubleshoot technical issues, advise on integration and configuration, and guide clients on regulatory and processing questions. A successful associate applies strong case-management principles, high organization, and a service-oriented mindset to deliver best‑in‑class support for our banking clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Technical Project Management, or other technology degree completed December 2024 or after; 3.0+ GPA and/or equivalent military experience.
  • 0-2 years of professional work experience.
  • Ability to work onsite in Milwaukee, WI (regular business hours with occasional rotation for extended coverage).
  • In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience with check/image processing or fraud systems (for example, X9, Check 21, ImageCash).
  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise deposit systems (for example, Enterprise SCO, TCM).
  • 3+ years of experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or JIRA for incident and case management.
  • 3+ years of experience scripting or automating tasks using Python or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the principal point of contact for external and internal customers regarding training, application queries and issues.
  • Research and diagnose problems to determine resolutions for reported incidents.
  • Escalate complex issues efficiently to Tier 3 support and track remediation through closure.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and review product documentation for accuracy and client impact.
  • Provide client input to Product Managers, Business Analysts and Developers regarding product features and enhancements.
  • Analyze incidents and trends to identify opportunities to improve service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and share knowledge articles, runbooks and client-facing documentation to enable team and client success.
  • Support scheduled team hours of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM onsite in Milwaukee, WI and assist with rotating extended support coverage as needed.
