This position requires applicants to possess a valid commercial driver’s license with manual endoresement and to work with a team of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate can work on their feet for most of the day and is comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs. This position requires the ability to travel 2-4 weeks at a time between the months of March through September. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, MVR, background check and continuing random drug tests. Experience working with pesticides is highly valued.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement is 21
• CDL A or B with Manual Endorsement

Responsibilities

• Assist in applying herbicides to the railroad and its surrounding properties
• Communicate and coordinate with railroad personnel
• Make safe and effective on the job decisions
• Drive a commercial vehicle, both over the road and on the railroad
• Perform simple math: addition, multiplication and division.
• Show up on time and work in a professional manner
• Properly organize and fill out daily reports.
