The P&W Military APU Program, located in West Palm Beach, Florida has an immediate opening for an ambitious, analytical, and high-energy Aftermarket Program Manager (APM). The APU APM will be responsible for managing APU MRO and repairs through our global repair network. Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, capability to prioritize daily tasks, and ability to work independently under pressure on multiple projects are all critical to success in this role.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years’ experience in Program Management, MRO Operations, Engineering or Supply Chain or an Advanced Degree and 7 years’ experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations
  • At least 3 years of experience interfacing directly and establishing positive relationships with customers at all levels
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a valid US passport.
  • 25% of domestic and international travel required to support business needs

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary interface for APU aftermarket customers, and act as POC for our France and Poland MRO facilities
  • Understand and ensure customer aftermarket service requirements are met including part repairs, APU/component repairs, technical assistance, service bulletins and other requirements to keep fielded products operational
  • Coordinate and facilitate aftermarket requirements with functional groups (Finance, Contracts, Business Development, Customer Support Engineering, Support Equipment, Operations, Tech pubs etc.) to support Customer needs
  • Responsible for the financial performance of the MRO and repair pieces of the aftermarket business
  • Interface with and manage the performance of 3rd party APU and LRU MRO providers
  • Work with customers to understand fielded product reliability, identify areas for improvements, and coordinate with the P&W organization to develop/implement improvements as appropriate
  • Ensure required export licenses are in place to support aftermarket import/export requirements
  • Lead or support proposal activities associated with generating additional aftermarket business and understanding program contractual requirements and ensure they are flowed to functional groups as required
