About The Position

Aquatic Supervisor / Maintenance Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented leader with a knack for problem-solving and experience in pool operations or facility maintenance? Do you thrive keeping teams organized, ensuring safety, and creating fun aquatic experiences? What You'll Do Manage outdoor municipal pool operations, supervise staff, and ensure facilities are clean, safe, and ready for the season. Oversee chemical monitoring, repairs, and safety compliance while coordinating with management for smooth daily operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; plus, two years advanced education or equivalent
  • Minimum two years' experience in aquatics or pool maintenance
  • Pool vacuum, chlorinator, chemical mixer, and safety equipment operation
  • Routine maintenance and safety compliance for aquatic facilities

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facility Operator preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise 10 pool managers and headguards, assign duties, and support staff training
  • Prepare pools for seasonal openings and closures, including inspections and chemical balancing
  • Monitor equipment, procedures, and repairs, correcting unsafe conditions
  • Manage supplies, inventory, and facility evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards
  • Direct routine supervision of pool managers and head guards
