About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Architecture Senior Manager for its Jersey City, New Jersey location. Duties: Manage architecture for IT projects and ensure the architecture conforms to the enterprise blueprints supported by the systems. Develop technology roadmaps using Java/J2ee, Spring framework, micro services and cloud integration while keeping up with emerging technologies, and recommend business directions based on these technologies. Interface with the business and client to define the systems requirements and estimate efforts and resources needed for the development using business analysis. Document the requirements of the changes to be implemented into existing platforms and summarize them in a technical language using business analysis and design patterns to provide guidance development team. Determine architecture of the solution ensuring that it meets all the requirements. Conduct feasibility analysis using operation research techniques and drive the implementation working with cross-functional teams. Interact with vendors to assess their technology and guide their product roadmap in accordance with the Citi requirements. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Applied Computer Science, or related field and 3 years of specified progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Manager-Delivery, Solution Architect, System Analyst, Sr. Developer, or related position involving systems architecture design, development and implementation in the global banking industry. Alternatively, employer will accept Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in the stated field and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 3 years of experience must include: Programming in Java/J2ee, Spring, Kafka, SpringBoot, MQ, Micro services; SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, Mongo DB; GIT, UNIX, OpenShift/ECS, Websphere; Object-oriented programming; Operating systems including Unix and Windows; Operations research, business analysis, design patterns analysis; Requirement analysis and validation; Project deliverables definition; Test cases and scenarios construction; Test results validation; User documentations and training materials validation; and Project management.
