About The Position

Join our team as Area Reservations Sales Manager and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge family, we are looking for a dynamic reservations leader, who will be responsible for driving the success of our Western Region reservations team in collaboration with the Area Director of Reservations. As a champion of operational excellence, lead the Reservations Sales team to consistently deliver exceptional performance, maximize revenue opportunities, and create seamless, personalized guest experiences. Inspire others, both guests and team members, to chart their ultimate journey. This role helps nurture the reservations team through management, training, and providing clear and consistent feedback. Works closely with the Area Director on oversight of the Reservation team.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience of supervisory experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, and be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Previous experience with Opera/Voice Agent/Synxis is preferred.
Strong computer skills and proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
Ability to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced, demanding work environment; must be flexible to changes in direction, routine and scheduling
Ability to work as a team-player and accept assignments from multiple individuals
Experience leading a remote team.
Experience at a luxury hospitality property.

Responsibilities

Oversee training and onboarding of other reservation sales associates.
Achieve monthly individual & team conversion and revenue goals.
Maintain accurate and relevant knowledge of all properties within the region including room types, experiences, rates, and property specific details.
Pursue Outbound Revenue Opportunities through our lead management system.
Attends bi-monthly calls with Revinate leadership to ensure optimizing use of the system.
Primary contact for Travel Agent requests and emails. Ensures all requests and communication are replied to within Auberge Guidelines.
Keep current with all communication and hotel information. Distributes information to the reservations team to ensure the team keeps current with all information.
Ensure appropriate guest follow up takes place in a timely and proper fashion, in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
Provide detailed notes and comments in the lead management system and PMS regarding guest requests to ensure a quality guest experience.
Assist with group rooming lists or 3rd party reservations as needed.
Maintain rate integrity in accordance with revenue management strategies. Communicates strategies to reservation sales associates in a timely manner.
Attends and participates in weekly revenue meetings.
Completes and distributes daily reservations production report.
Creates and maintains department scheduling and overview of timesheets.
Completes month end reconciliations and travel agent commissions report.
Maintain a standard of 80% or higher on shop calls.
Assist in maximizing hotel room revenue and occupancy numbers
Participate in annual reservations sales training.
Participate in department meetings as scheduled.
Fulfill daily tasks on the Reservations Checklist.
Answer all incoming calls in less than three rings in a professional and friendly demeanor following Hotel Call quality and brand standards.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
