Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Sentinel in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and deliver customer-focused communication with professionalism. Requirements

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document events per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor entry points, assist with access control for employees, visitors and vendors, and help to deter unauthorized access into restricted areas.
• Complete routine security-related reports, including patrol logs, incident reports and shift handoff notes, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
