You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government location by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Control access points by verifying identification, monitoring authorized entry, and documenting deliveries, visitors, and unusual activity per site requirements.
• Carry and maintain issued equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and post orders, and complete detailed written reports and incident documentation.
