SUMMARY The Assembler will support the assembly of product according to the required specifications and processes, ensuring all products are made safely, with the highest quality and in an efficient manner. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Mechanically inclined with previous experience in a manufacturing environment or related field
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

  • Familiar with assembly tools and equipment
  • Quality assurance experience a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical documents—including work instructions and bills of material —to properly assemble product.
  • Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, machinery, or automated equipment.
  • Work to close tolerances on intricate small assembly work.
  • Perform quality checks on assembled parts to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Record production data, including quantities assembled and downtime.
  • Notify leader of defective materials or faulty operations.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and resolve assembly issues.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace; adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols.
  • Aid in maintaining proper flow within the work cell.
  • Operate as a team player at prescribed performance levels consistent with quality.
  • Perform necessary transactions in ERP system to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.
