About The Position

This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products in a repetitive nature
  • Follows an engineered assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align parts
  • Follow methods and sequences for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
  • Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels
  • Uses Microsoft Office programs
  • Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements
  • Performs some hand soldering on electronic assemblies
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment
  • Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks
  • Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours).
  • Frequently transport packages weighing 25 pounds
  • Other duties as assigned
