As our Asset Reliability Work Order Scheduler, you’ll turn work requests into repeatable, safe job plans and orchestrate a weekly schedule that keeps technicians productive and equipment available. Your impact You will create detailed work packages, confirm materials and tooling, and lead cross-functional alignment so maintenance is executed right the first time. By maintaining a strong Ready Backlog (≥ 80%) and a weekly schedule that uses 100% of available technician hours, you’ll drive throughput and stability. Your first 90 days Audit the current backlog; perform site walkdowns to validate scope and safety prerequisites for non-urgent work. Standardize job plans with clear task steps, estimated craft hours, skill requirements, materials, parts, and special tooling. Build a reference library pulling from drawings, schematics, specs, spare part lists, OEM manuals, and the internal knowledge base. Implement parts availability checks before scheduling; arrange auxiliary equipment and specialty tools in advance. Facilitate weekly planning and scheduling meetings with Production to set priorities and communicate status. Launch a balanced weekly schedule integrating planned corrective work and PM activities. Introduce plan and schedule effectiveness reviews using maintenance metrics; capture learnings to continuously improve job plans. Organize records and files to enable meaningful analysis and reporting on maintenance performance. Coach the site team on CMMS usage and data integrity.
