About The Position

Join us to maximize uptime Reliable assets start with disciplined planning. As our Asset Reliability Work Order Scheduler, you’ll turn work requests into repeatable, safe job plans and orchestrate a weekly schedule that keeps technicians productive and equipment available. Your impact You will create detailed work packages, confirm materials and tooling, and lead cross-functional alignment so maintenance is executed right the first time. By maintaining a strong Ready Backlog (≥ 80%) and a weekly schedule that uses 100% of available technician hours, you’ll drive throughput and stability. Your first 90 days Audit the current backlog; perform site walkdowns to validate scope and safety prerequisites for non-urgent work. Standardize job plans with clear task steps, estimated craft hours, skill requirements, materials, parts, and special tooling. Build a reference library pulling from drawings, schematics, specs, spare part lists, OEM manuals, and the internal knowledge base. Implement parts availability checks before scheduling; arrange auxiliary equipment and specialty tools in advance. Facilitate weekly planning and scheduling meetings with Production to set priorities and communicate status. Launch a balanced weekly schedule integrating planned corrective work and PM activities. Introduce plan and schedule effectiveness reviews using maintenance metrics; capture learnings to continuously improve job plans. Organize records and files to enable meaningful analysis and reporting on maintenance performance. Coach the site team on CMMS usage and data integrity.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a technical field with 1–3 years in maintenance planning/scheduling; or 5–10 years as a machine repair technician; or a comparable combination.
  • Experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Competence with CMMS/maintenance systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to cultivate professional, cooperative relationships.
