The College of Health Professions at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) invites applications for a core faculty position in our Department of Physical Therapy at the UAMS Northwest Campus in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is a 9-month position at the assistant or associate professor rank, beginning preferably in Fall 2026. About the Program Holistic admission process with 28 students admitted annually. Active learning methods, including flipped classrooms, problem-based learning, team-based learning, and inter-professional experiences. Newly renovated facilities with 14,000 square feet of teaching and research space, two outpatient clinics, and access to an onsite skilled nursing facility. Simulation labs and in-house clinics provide progressive clinical education experiences. Research equipment includes Noraxon wireless motion analysis, Neurocom Balance Master, Cosmed CPET Metabolic Testing System, AlterG Anti-gravity Treadmill, and more. Collaborative research opportunities with UAMS Northwest, UAMS Little Rock, and the nearby University of Arkansas.
