Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere. Where: Camp Clover Patch located in Glenville, NY at our Clover Patch Camp. This position is a live‑in role, requiring the counselor to reside on-site six days a week (excluding Saturdays), with housing and food fully provided for the duration of employment. Requirements

  • Associate's degree in field of Outdoor Education, Therapeutic Recreation, Health Education, Health Science or related field, preferred
  • At least 2 years of related experience, specifically in: clinical, residential or community programs, preferred
  • 1 year supervisory experience in camp environment based activities program
  • Working with people with disabilities preferred
  • 2 seasons working in a residential, camp or outdoor educational program, preferred
  • Valid, clean NYS drivers license

Responsibilities

  • The Assistant Camp Director supports and advances the mission of the camp through the planning, coordination, and implementation of engaging program activities and special events.
  • Develop and lead activities that are safe, inclusive, enjoyable, and developmentally appropriate for campers of varying ages and abilities.
  • Assist with the overall management and daily operations of the camp under the guidance of the Camp Director.
