About The Position

Judevine Center for Autism is looking for an energetic, detail oriented leader to join our St. Louis team as an Assistant Director. In this role, you will help to enhance oversight and quality within the Hub. The Assistant Director is responsible for assisting the Hub Director in successfully leading and directing residential services within a specific geographical area. He or she will ensure, with the Hub Director, that the residential services achieves Judevine's mission, strategic objectives, goals, and scorecard measurements, and meets the quality standards set by Judevine, its funders and its accreditation agencies. Oversee and monitor environmental quality checks of ISL homes assigned Oversee and monitor quality, accuracy, and completion of documentation for each consumer within homes assigned Prepare monthly paperwork for each consumer within homes assigned (monthlies, financials, variance reports, census reports, payroll) Attend ISP meetings for consumers Monitor schedules for homes assigned to ensure staffing patterns are followed and that overtime is kept to minimum Oversee vehicle maintenance for homes assigned and complete monthly reports Assist with HR functions for homes assigned New hire training and coaching for Hub On call rotation Judevine Center for Autism does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, veteran status, genetic information, or any other basis prohibited by applicable law. Requirements

  • Knowledge and treatment and training for individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of programs and services for individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities
  • Ability to turn feedback from clients and their families, case workers, colleagues, and data into program improvements quickly and efficiently
  • Proven ability to work with families of individual with disabilities
  • Leadership skills
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to delegate and hold supervised staff accountable for results
  • Ability to counsel employees, recognize talent, reward good performance
  • Education: Bachelors degree in social work, education, therapy, psychology, or related field preferred. 5+ years supervisory experience and experience with autism or related developmental disabilities considered
  • Experience: 5+ years of successful work experience at a social services agency or similar organization, including management or supervisory experience.
