About The Position

The editing intern will get first-hand experience working in a highly proficient creative production environment for Universal Destinations & Experience’s in house creative agency. The intern will contribute at multiple stages in the post-production pipeline to optimize editorial work and video asset curation. The intern will have opportunities to learn, create and collaborate in a highly productive video production environment that strives to push the boundaries in creative storytelling.

Requirements

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Senior or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred majors include: Video Production, Creative Advertising or Marketing, Motion Design & VFX, or similar.
  • Experience with MAC and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Resolve).

Responsibilities

  • Works with editors, content creators, producers and the associate creative director to create compelling video content for Universal Destinations and Experiences that excites and motivates consumers to visit.
  • Assists at multiple areas of the post-production pipeline including ingest, dailies, color prep, finishing, tagging, and organization of video assets.
  • Assists in managing the ingest of video assets and assembling edits based on script notes and guidance from content creators.
  • Supports the video asset management process by helping identify selects and creating string-outs/sizzle reels for creative review.
  • Makes edits and updates to existing video content, spots, trailers, promos, etc.
  • Manages multiple assignments while maintaining quality.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
