About The Position
Assistant Golf Course Superintendent Brookside Country Club – Macungie, PA Brookside Country Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our agronomy team. This position works directly with the Golf Course Superintendent in maintaining high-quality playing conditions for our membership. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading a team, and taking pride in exceptional course conditions.
Requirements
- Experience in golf course or landscape maintenance preferred
- Turfgrass Management degree or certificate preferred
- PA pesticide license or ability to obtain
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work early mornings and weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily golf course maintenance operations
- Supervise and train grounds staff
- Apply fertilizers and plant protectants
- Assist with irrigation system monitoring and repairs
- Equipment operation and course setup
- Support tournament preparation and special events
