About The Position

This is a part-time, Assistant-Imaging Services position located at Jay Hospital. The hours are Saturday and Sunday 9am-9:30pm and Monday 3-11:30pm. Works under the supervision of a radiologist, technologist, or radiology nurse. Performs clerical and/or patient care duties necessary to assist in performing imaging exams. Clerical duties may include, but are not limited to patient scheduling & registration, patient screening, reception, release of information, and maintaining inventory. Patient care duties may include, but are not limited to transporting and transferring patients, preparing patients for procedures, discussing exams and preps with patients, starting IV access lines, and assisting with minimally invasive procedures as approved by regional leadership and with documentation of training and competency. All other duties as assigned. High School Diploma/GED. 0-3 years of experience. Medical Terminology, preferred. Experience in a hospital or medical environment, preferred.
