Requirements

  • Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement – someone who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day.
  • 3+ years of experience in terminal operations, inventory management, asset maintenance, or heavy industrial environments; or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability within a unionized workforce, including effective labor‑management engagement and people‑centric coaching skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (IFS, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel; able to translate data into decisions that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of inventory accuracy, cycle counting, receiving/issuing processes, and data integrity within complex maintenance environments.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, influence cross‑functional stakeholders, and uphold standards tied to safety, operational discipline, and cost control.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain precise alignment between system inventory and physical warehouse locations, ensuring accuracy in bin discipline and storage standards.
  • Oversee timely processing of spare parts in compliance with procurement policies, ERP (IFS) controls, and inventory governance requirements.
  • Use advanced Excel and ERP data to drive operational decisions that strengthen transparency, reliability, and performance.
  • Lead and support structured Min/Max governance, stock‑turn performance, and inventory health improvements.
  • Analyze aging stock, consumption patterns, and lead times to prevent shortages and minimize excess inventory.
  • Foster accountability and a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration within a unionized workforce.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and audit‑ready warehouse through routine safety walks, hazard mitigation, and adherence to HSSE and handling standards.
