Transport parts and supplies to sub-shops and other departments. Unload and receive parts from supply truck. Store parts in correct bins in stock room. Assist in the operation of stock room and warehouse. Valid NC Driver’s license and safety toe shoes are required. Necessary to have working knowledge of stock keeping, shipping procedures and practices, and inventory record keeping methods and procedures. Ability to examine incoming supplies to ascertain adherence to purchase order and specification requirements, to maintain routing clerical records and to prepare reports from these records, to make rapid and accurate mathematical calculations. Ability needed to understand and follow oral or written instructions, to maintain effective working relationships with other employees. Sufficient physical strength needed to lift and move relatively heavy objects.
