The Role Our Assistant Store Managers are sales-driven leaders and future Store Managers. They lead from the floor, drive revenue, and play a critical role in building high-performing teams and exceptional customer experiences. This role is highly performance-focused and growth-oriented. As an ASM, you will partner closely with the Store Manager to execute the business, develop top-selling stylists, and uphold Purpose standards across sales, service, and operations. You will spend the majority of your time on the sales floor leading by example, while also owning key operational responsibilities that support store performance, team development, and customer loyalty. This role is designed for someone who wants to grow into a Store Manager role and take on increasing levels of leadership and business ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Drive store revenue through strong personal selling, sales leadership, and customer connection
  • Lead from the floor by actively engaging with customers and modeling excellent selling and styling behaviors
  • Consistently meet and exceed personal sales performance standards and Key Performance Indicators
  • Coach and motivate the team to achieve sales goals and stylist KPIs
  • Build genuine, long-term customer relationships and model hospitality at the highest level
  • Support the Store Manager in developing top sellers and emerging leaders within the team
  • Maintain Purpose values across all areas of the business: sales, team leadership, operations, and customer experience
  • Enhance the store environment through positivity, organization, cleanliness, and strong product presentation
  • Assist in key store operations including scheduling support, visual merchandising execution, inventory flow, and store standards
  • Celebrate wins, recognize outstanding performance, and contribute to a culture of accountability, growth, and fun
