About The Position

This position will assist the Plant Manager in the daily oversight of production, distribution, safety, and efficiency of the entire plant. Will also assist in the management of assets and indirectly help supervise staff to ensure customer needs are met in the most timely and efficient manner possible while providing excellent customer service in safe environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Valid license and clean driving record
  • Strong judgement and management skills, as well as relationship building, responsibility, and team building
  • Business acumen, strong oral and written communication skills, customer oriented and solid decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months to 1-year prior industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with hazardous materials preferred
  • CDL experience or a current CDL a huge plus!
  • Prior management experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of all fill plant standard operating procedures and safety policies
  • Assist the Plant Manager in organizing and implementing all daily plant activities and strategies
  • Perform high-pressure cylinder filling, as needed, to ensure that cylinder fill rates are met
  • Assist the Plant Manager in hiring, orientation, training, supervising, evaluating, motivating, and leading all employees in the plant
  • Work with the plant manager to develop a safe culture within the plant and maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Develop and provide safety training and ensure employees follow all company safety guidelines
  • Assist in enforcing safety rules and regulations in line with the state, federal, DOT, OSHA, and FDA policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Assist with day to day operations of the plant to ensure maximum profits with lowest possible investment while maintaining the highest level of safety
  • Other duties as assigned
