The Assistant Professor (tenure-track) position will teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses in nutrition and dietetics through on-line instruction with some fac-to-face training of Future Education Model Graduate Program students; advise students; evaluate and grade students’ assignments in a timely manner and offer appropriate and timely feedback to gauge students’ progress; follow university timelines and procedures related to grading and submission of early warnings, mid-term and final examination grades; supervise/advise students research projects, thesis or internships; participate in normal functioning of the Department of Nutrition Sciences, College of Health and Sciences, and the University including participating in departmental meetings and university obligatory activities including events and student recruitment activities. This position is expected to engage in research and scholarly activities, publish in peer-reviewed journals, present at professional conference and secure external funding to meet tenure-track requirements. Inclusion of students in scholarly activities is highly encourages. This position requires presence on campus for student support and university events requiring department presence as directed by the department chair. Strong technology training, skills and ability to deliver distance education courses are required.
