The Associate Analyst, Equity Trading plays a key role in the Middle Office operations supporting the Equity Trading desk. The role is responsible for processing and reconciling equity and option trade corrections, performing control checks, and ensuring data accuracy across trading systems. Requirements

  • Analytical and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to identify patterns, spot anomalies, and proactively surface potential risks or issues
  • Comfortable managing time‑sensitive, detail‑heavy operational workflows with a high degree of accuracy and consistency
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, support high‑volume periods, and maintain composure under operational pressure
  • Communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across trading, operations, and cross‑functional teams
  • Experience with MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel; experience with VBA macros, BETA, and workflow tools such as MS Dynamics is preferred

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent work experience)
  • Refinitiv/BETA experience
  • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and/or other licenses

Responsibilities

  • Process a high volume of equity trade corrections and operational requests received through the Equity Trading mailbox and MS Dynamics, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Perform daily reconciliation of equity corrections using BETA and Excel/VBA-based tools
  • Track volume metrics and maintain departmental controls, documentation, and procedures
  • Identify and improve operational processes to strengthen accuracy, reduce friction, and increase efficiency across the Middle Office
  • Address advisor trade‑correction inquiries and operational requests from internal departments with accurate and timely support
  • Train team members on core Middle Office processes and support cross-functional operational workflows
