About The Position

Deliver an equity electronic trading platform to the firm's institutional equity sales and trading clients. Develop and implement equity electronic trading strategies Algorithmic development and model evaluation for equity electronic trading Perform analytics as to the performance of the electronic trading platform e.g., transaction cost analysis, quantitative performance analysis, Working with Sales, market the electronic platform to clients driving client connectivity Manage electronic trading vendors Business services institutional and corporate clients. Responsible for algorithmic performance analysis Review of client executions within low touch Understanding of market microstructure Perform activities supporting marketing and sales Promote a cohesive, inclusive and team oriented culture aligned with Truist purpose mission and value.

Requirements

  • Must have Master’s degree in Finance, Analytics, Operations Research or related field with heavy quantitative coursework.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in quantitative positions within the financial services industry performing/utilizing the following: Processing high frequency quote, order and trade data In-depth knowledge of statistics and quant modeling Identifying, applying, and implementing cloud services best practices Knowledge of market microstructure and experience with Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) Solving complex analytical problems related to market impact and transaction cost and communicating efficiently results to traders and clients.
  • Utilizing experience with: AWS microservices, Q, KDB, Python, Java, R, and Tick market data .
