About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Associate Director, Business Systems Analysis will report to John Gray- Director, Technology Solutions. You will create and define systems and goals based on both user needs and an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies processes considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, and operating time. You will validate benefits achieved from solution implementation. You will lead the Data Analysis and Transformation Team within the larger MarketPoint Business Insights – Data Management Team. This team anticipates, defines, collects, and owns data collection and integration business requirements for our development partners. They lead data discovery and analytics to identify business rules and opportunities to optimize the use of our data. This team understands how data is collected, stored, and made available to our data consumers. You will own the following responsibilities: Collaborate across teams to ensure requirements meet the underlying and long-term needs of the stakeholders Constant communication and follow up from initial discovery through completion of agile features Prioritize large volume and large bodies of work with competing timelines Delegate of work, ensuring even-loaded capacity across associates on the team Appropriately escalate to resolve issues and support deadlines Communicate with lower and upper level associates (up to VP level) Communicate and create partnerships with IT development team Identify and communicate the value of the work requested and the outcomes once work is completed Lead a team of specialized associates focused on data (analysis, management, governance, sharing, issue resolution) Use your skills to make an impact

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of Humana's data governance processes
  • 3+ years' experience in MarketPoint
  • 2+ years leadership experience with direct reports
  • 8+ years' experience in data management or data modeling for report development
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Snowflake Cloud solutions
  • Experience prioritizing and organizing high-volume and large bodies of work, while delivering quality services/products
  • Curious mind with an ability to dig into complex processes, identifying any opportunity to simplify or automate

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree related to Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science, Data Management, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • SNOWPRO certification
