We’re looking for an Associate Financial Analyst to join our Commercial FP&A team, with a focus on partnering with the Sales organization. This role will be the primary FP&A partner for our Commercial business, supporting the Commercial Finance Manager. You will work closely with Senior FP&A members and cross-functional commercial teams to ensure the financial planning and analysis rhythm incorporates proactive scenario modeling, high-quality forecasting, and operational excellence around contraction-related metrics.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in FP&A, Sales/Revenue Finance, or a related analytical field, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Experience analyzing large-scale, high-frequency transactional data and developing insights for variable revenue businesses
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Comfortable using SQL to query and analyze large datasets (advanced SQL expertise not required)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills, able to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, financial modeling, and data visualization; experience with OneStream, Workday, Salesforce, Tableau, BigQuery, or similar tools is a plus.
  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with large datasets
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and presenting findings to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience partnering with commercial teams in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders to drive accountability

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in consumption-based modeling for SaaS companies
  • Understanding of SaaS business models and forecasting
  • Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability
  • Familiarity with Anaplan, OneStream, Salesforce, Workday, and Tableau (or equivalents)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary FP&A partner for the Customer Strategy team, supporting all aspects of revenue forecasting and budget management
  • Partner proactively with business leaders to identify growth opportunities and develop recommendations that impact product, go-to-market, and investment decisions
  • Build and maintain robust financial models for topline reporting
  • Collaborate with commercial and product teams to identify trends and drivers of business motions, and integrate insights into broader revenue forecast models.
  • Develop and deliver monthly/quarterly business reviews focused on key performance metrics, trends, and risks/opportunities across the organization
  • Partner with Sales, Product, RevOps, and business leaders to identify growth opportunities and optimize pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies for variable revenue products.
  • Contribute to the annual budget setting process to help drive efficient revenue growth
  • Drive process improvements to streamline analytics and enable scalable reporting for high-volume transaction data
