About The Position

The Associate, Human Resources provides support to the organization in areas
such as hourly recruiting, onboarding, unemployment claims processing,
performance management training coordination, HR metrics reporting, and general
HR project support. This position is responsible for product safety, quality,
and legality.

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent required
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Customer service driven
• Strong team player
• Ability to follow policies and procedures
• Ability to read, write, and interpret information
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
• Ability to sit, walk, or stand for the duration of the shift
• Must possess visual acuity to perform essential job functions
• Ability to conduct physical tasks with a full range of motion throughout the warehouse environment
• Ability to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Schedule, prepare, and facilitate logistics for new employee orientation and onboarding.
• Provide administrative support across HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Assist in resolving employee HR-related questions and issues.
• Advise HR leadership on potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Answer basic HR questions and refer complex matters to appropriate resources.
• Support review of employee relations concerns and provide recommendations.
• Assist HR and management in enhancing HR programs, policies, and processes.
• Administer aspects of new employee orientation and training.
• Manage hourly recruiting, sourcing, and screening processes.
• Maintain job files and ensure proper dispositioning of applicants.
• Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with record retention policies.
• Administer the performance management program according to design reviews.
• Prepare and respond to unemployment claims.
• Support internal training programs aligned with long-term HR goals.
• Prepare HR reports for government and management requirements.
• Distribute required federal, state, and local HR-related notices.
