About The Position

This position works on site at the Ruan Center in downtown Des Moines! Assess and troubleshoot basic support issues while applying understanding of modern software, hardware, systems, and applications. Participate in on-call rotation for support outside of core hours.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalen work experience.
  • customer service experience or relevant IT certifications.
  • Must be able to commit to Ruan's value statement by acting with integrity in everything we do.
  • Must be able to meet behavioral expectations and perform in alignment with our guiding principles: safety, people, customer, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Basic knowledge of hardware, software, networking, database, and web applications.
  • Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate IT issues.
  • Fulfill IT requests.
  • Create and maintain accurate records and technical documentation.
  • Perform technical cross-training with team members.
  • Perform other specialized tasks in relation to established career development plans.
